AIR CONDITIONING UNITS

Application

They are used to chill the air rather than cool the air. They do this via a refrigerant and compressor that cools the air and extracts the warm air via an integrated hose. This type of system is not to be confused with an air cooler that either cools the air via a fan or combination of fan and cooling ‘ice block'.

AIR PURIFIER

Application

They are designed to draw the existing air within the room and draw it through a filtration system to take dust particles and odours out of the atmosphere. The Dimplex air purifier also has Viro3 technology that traps airborne impurities via plasma generator technology. To improve the purification efficiency door and widows being left open/ opened should be kept to a minimum.

COOLING FAN

Application

They are a cost effective soltuion for cooling the air via simply by recirculating the current air within the room and passing it through a motorised fan blade. They do not reduce the air temperature.

DEHUMIDIFIERS

Application

They are used to reduce condensation or humididity levels within a room. Typically they are used to reduce levels of damp that occurs within dwellings.

Extraction

Where a product is rated at 10 litres, this means that at optimum conditions the product can extract 10 litres of moisture per 24 hours.

Water tank

Usually can hold around 2 litres with a float system to ensure when the tank is full the product is switched off to stop overflowing.

Continuous drain

A hose is required which means the product can run continuously extracting moisture from the environment.

HUMIDIFIERS/AROMA DIFFUSERS

Application

They are used to moisten the air within a room, where typically heating systems have dried the air. The Dimplex Lola also can scent the air with the addition of essential oils.
