How much does this product cost?

Are you able to send me a copy of your brochure on this product?

I have lost the instructions for this product/ I don’t know how to use it

All our products are simple to use and you can download the operating instructions by clicking on the ‘Instructions’ tab in the right hand menu of the product page. If you have a different series to the one downloaded, please speak to our Customer Service helpline, remembering to have the model number and series letter/ serial number of the appliance to hand [this can be found on the rating label].

Can I paint your products?

No, we do not advise the painting of our heaters.

Are panel heaters available in the same colour range as my storage heaters?

The EPX range is finished in white to match the DuoHeat radiator, while the PLX range is available in either willow white to match our storage heater range, or white to also match the DuoHeat radiators [selected models only].

Do panel heaters require much maintenance?

As with most Dimplex products, our panel heaters are virtually maintenance free.

Where in a domestic property would panel heaters provide the best heating solution?

Panel heaters provide instant, controllable heat and are suitable for almost any room; however, they are particularly suited to occasional use areas such as bedrooms.

Are panel heaters expensive to run?

Any product used during the daytime will use normal rate electricity, however, our ranges of panel heaters have highly accurate thermostats and some have timers to help reduce running costs. To reduce costs even further, we also have a number of ranges with advanced electronic thermostats and timers for even greater temperature control and economy. Please see the individual product pages for more detailed information.

Do your panel heaters have a frost protection setting?

Yes, all of our panel heaters incorporate a frost protection setting (apart from the no control version- however these can be controlled remotely by a central controller.

I would like to install several panel heaters, can I control them from a single point?

Yes, all of our installed panel heaters apart from the PLX range, can all be used with our range of wall mounted programmers and programming cassettes.

How many panel heaters will I need to heat a property effectively?

It is important to install the correct mix of heaters to ensure the heaters/system work properly. We offer a variety of options to help you work out the correct products. If you need information on one or two rooms only, please refer to the “’How much heat do I need’ tab in the right hand menu. For more complex installations, please refer to the Heating Design section.

Can I dry my clothes on my panel heater?

NO, you should never cover the surfaces of the heater or obstruct the air outlet grilles as this will cause temperatures of the product to rise and the safety cut-outs to operate.
