How much does this product cost?

I have lost the instructions for this product/ I don’t know how to use it

All our products are simple to use and you can download the operating instructions by clicking on the ‘Instructions’ tab in the right hand menu of the product page. If you have a different series to the one downloaded, please speak to our Customer Service helpline, remembering to have the model number and series letter/ serial number of the appliance to hand [this can be found on the rating label]

Can I paint your products?

No, we do not advise the painting of our heaters.

What are the benefits of base unit heaters?

Base unit heaters are designed to fit neatly, discretely and unobtrusively into the base of kitchen units, reception desks, shop counters, false walls, fascias and even stair risers. They can heat a room much faster than a traditional radiator many times it’s size and will not take up valuable wall space.

Is there a cool air circulation option?

Yes both the BFH & BUH ranges have a fan only option for cool air circulation.

Do base unit heaters have to be installed at low level?

Yes

Do base unit heaters all have integral controls or can you have a switch panel control?

We offer both options, although on all models the thermostat is located on the product as this is the most efficient location for it.

Are base unit heaters easy to use?

All models have been designed for easy use, however as the heaters are installed at low level, we would not recommend the models with the integral controls for elderly or disabled customers.

Do base unit heaters require much maintenance?

No, as with most of the Dimplex products they have been designed so they require minimal if any maintenance at all.

Can your base unit heaters work with my wet central heating system?

Yes, our BUH range has been specifically designed for use on wet heating systems.

Are base unit heaters noisy like extractor fans are?

Although they are not as noisy as an extractor fan, you will hear some noise from the motor running.
