Heat Distribution System

Dimplex provide a range of pre-configured hydraulic models to match specific heat pumps’ requirements, simplifying the connection to the heating systems and offering the option of flexible expansion for domestic hot water and additional heating circuits.

KPV25 – Compact Manifold

Allows connection between the heat pump, buffer tank and a single heating circuit, simplifying the installation and reducing space.

WWM25 – Hot Water Module

Allows connection between the heat pump and domestic hot water cylinder or second heating circuit.

VTB25 – Manifold Bar

Allows simultaneous connection of the compact manifold and hot water module.

Buffer Tanks

Connection of a buffer tank ensures minimum compressor run-times and minimum water flow rates through the heat pump to maintain optimum efficiency. A buffer tank is essential for Air Source Heat Pumps, as it provides the energy source for the defrosting cycle.

Combined Buffer Tank and DHW cylinder

The Dimplex PWS332UK combined buffer tank and cylinder provides the ideal solution where floor space is limited, including both a 300L hot water cylinder and 100L buffer tank.
For the LI ME/LI TE/LI TEH ranges, a matching 140L under heat pump buffer cylinder is available, matching the standard design and saving space.
For the SI MEK range, a matching 100L under heat pump buffer cylinder is available (PSP100E) matching the standard design and saving space.

Dimplex Hot Water Cylinders

Dimplex provide a range of unvented hot water cylinders, sized correctly for the maximum heating capacity of the heat pump. An integrated temperature sensor is connected to the heat pump manager, allowing the heat pump to automatically manage the production of hot water when required. Dimplex heat pump cylinders are fully UK approved for G3 building regulations.
For the SI MEK range a 400L hot water cylinder (WWSP442EUK) is available, matching the standard design.

Air Ducting

Aluminium Rain-guard RSG500 – specially developed for Dimplex Air-to-Water heat pumps to ensure air flow rates and air pressure losses are maintained within required specifications.

Sealing collar DMK500

Rubber gasket for vibration-free connection of air ducts to heat pump, includes screw-fastening frame.

LKL – LKKL – LKB

Thermally and acoustically insulated glass reinforced concrete air ducts are available for the LI ME and LI TE heat pumps in a range of sizes and configurations.

Ground collector accessories

For ground source heat pumps, a range of ground collector accessory packages are available, to simplify the installation and connection to the heat pump. These are specifically matched to the flow rate and pressure requirements of each heat pump model.
