Your heat pump grant application

Eight easy steps to 50% grant funding

1. Contact us to discuss the details of your project. Based on building plans or a site survey, we will provide an initial system design specification. If necessary, we can provide presentations or any additional information required to help secure approval for the project to go ahead - Download the attached registration form which can be faxed over to 01489 773061 or emailed to lcbp@dimplex.co.uk

2. When you are ready to proceed, Dimplex will recommend an installer (or installers) from our BRE approved list of Heat Pump Installer Partners. A full specification and schedule of works will be produced and a costed quotation provided.

3. At this stage you should complete an online or paper based application and submit to the BRE along with electronic copies of installer quotations and proof of not-forprofit status. Receipt of your application at the BRE will be confirmed by them by email within 2 working days of receipt. Dimplex will be happy to help in preparing your application.

4. Following checks for compliance and a technical appraisal of the application, the BRE will provide notification of the grant decision within 5-7 working days (applications over £100,000 may take up to 20 days to approve).

5. The BRE will issue a Grant Offer letter to successful applicants, detailing the maximum grant offer and the installation address.

6. Installation work can then commence by the selected Dimplex Approved Heat Pump Installer Partner, who will also supply the heat pump and other associated equipment.

7. At a point of your choosing, a first stage payment of up to 50% of the total grant award can be made. Appropriate paid installer invoices are required for any first stage payment claims. An appropriate time for this to happen is after the installation of the ground collectors.

8. Following completion of the installation works and commissioning of the system, the final grant claim can be made. This must be received by the BRE within 12 months of the date of the Grant Offer letter.
