Standard 1 year guarantee

Guarantee Obligations

Dimplex Renewables guarantees to the owner that for a period of 12 months from the date of installation that the Heat Pump Product will:

• Conform to the Technical Specifications published by Dimplex Renewables at the time of purchase.
• During the period of guarantee, any components of the product which are proved to be faulty or defective in manufacture will be exchanged or repaired free of charge, if repaired by Dimplex Renewables or a Dimplex Renewables approved Service Agent.

Qualifying conditions

• Dimplex Renewables requires documentation to prove the date of installation for standard guarantee products. If the date of installation cannot be proven then a delivery note or proof of purchase will be accepted with the guarantee starting from the date provided.
• Installation must conform to all of the installation guidelines and clearances specified in installation manuals, planning manuals and user instructions unless written permission is obtained from Dimplex Renewables.
• Any repair work carried out during this guarantee period must be authorised by Dimplex Renewables prior to the work taking place and may only be carried out by Dimplex Renewables or a Dimplex Renewables approved Service Agent

Exclusions

The guarantee excludes:

• Any ancillary equipment connected to the product such as ground collectors or heating system components,
• Repair or replacement of product consumables such as anti-freeze.
• Faults and any associated costs arising due to a lack of a suitable power supply, water contamination, scale formation or air pollution
• Damage caused by faulty installation, incorrect application, inadequate commissioning, incorrect dilution of glycol, neglect, misuse, accidental damage, malicious damage, any alteration, tampering or repair by a person not approved or authorised by Dimplex Renewables.
• Any Repair work carried out without prior authorisation from Dimplex Renewables.

2 Year Extended Warranty

Warranty Obligations

Dimplex Renewables guarantees to the owner that for a period of 3 years (1 year standard + 2 years extended) from the date of commission that the Heat Pump Product will:

• Conform to the Technical Specifications published by Dimplex Renewables at the time of purchase.
• During the period of guarantee, any components of the product which are proved to be faulty or defective in manufacture will be exchanged or repaired free of charge, if repaired by Dimplex Renewables or an approved Service Agent.

Qualifying conditions

The product must have been installed by a Dimplex Renewables Approved Heat Pump Installer Partner or Dimplex Renewables Accredited Installer.

• The Product must have been commissioned by Dimplex Renewables or a Dimplex Renewables Approved Commissioning Engineer. If commissioned by an Approved commissioning engineer then full commissioning forms must be made available to Dimplex Renewables.
• The product must be commissioned and a completed form sent to Dimplex within 60 days of installation. After this time the extended warranty will be adjusted pro rata1
• Installation must conform to all Installation guidelines and clearances specified in installation manuals, planning manuals and user instructions unless written permission is obtained from Dimplex Renewables.
• Any repair work carried out during this warranty period must be authorised by Dimplex Renewables prior to the work taking place and may only be carried out by Dimplex Renewables or a Dimplex Renewables approved Service Agent.

1 If the heat pump is commissioned 6 months after installation, the 3 year warranty will commence from 60 days after the installation and not from date of commission.
