What is the Zeroth Energy System?

The Zeroth Energy System is an innovative community heating network containing heat pump technology and utilising a refrigerant free, water to water energy loop to provide heating, cooling and hot water. The unique design and operating temperatures allow a broader range of heating or cooling equipment to be used, compared with current building designs. The system improves energy performance whilst helping to alleviate overheating issues currently experienced with traditional communal heating designs.

• The Zeroth Energy System can help save energy and reduce the carbon of a comparative dwelling by 29%, when compared to today’s gas approach.

• Summer overheating is reduced, where traditionally communal corridor temperatures could reach 30°C+ with traditional community heating schemes.

• The market potential is growing, with 25,500 homes being built per year which use community heating.

Zeroth Heat Pump Range

The Zeroth Heat Pump is available in both 4kW and 6kW models, with both heating only and heating and cooling options. The unit comes pre-wired and pre-plumbed for simple installation and a compact footprint allows for easy incorporation into the dwelling.
