SPARKS Learner of the Year Competition – Championing Future Electrical Talent
This competition plays a key role in encouraging and recognising the next generation of electricians, helping to build confidence, capability and ambition at the very start of their careers.
How the Competition Works
The competition starts with seven regional heats across the UK. Winners from each region advance to the national final on 6–7 May 2026, where the top learners compete over two days of hands-on challenges, technical assessments, and real-world scenarios.
