How it works
The Edel Hot Water Heat Pump consists of a ducted system to supply external air to an air source heat pump mounted on top of a water cylinder. The heat pump collects energy from the air and converts this into heat, which is then transferred to the water within the cylinder, creating hot water.
Efficiency
With an impressive Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 3.36 and an average energy consumption of only 250W, Edel offers high performance and energy savings. For increased sustainability, Edel models can integrate with PV panels using a PV optimiser to divert solar energy to the heat pump’s compressor, generating hot water without relying on grid electricity. By reducing carbon emissions and improving EPC ratings, Edel is an environmentally friendly choice that also offers low running costs.

Safety is paramount with Edel, it features a robust stainless steel cylinder with a non-porous surface that provides more resistance to bacteria and is compatible with diverse water qualities. It's in-built legionella protection control function ensures a safe and secure hot water supply.
Take control with Dimplex
All three Edel models are radio frequency (RF) enabled, allowing remote control and monitoring via a smart device using the Dimplex Control app, when purchased with a Dimplex Control Hub.
